BeltBolt is a little computer that keeps an eye on your chastity.

You might not be allowed to touch yourself when you’re locked up in chastity, but what happens if you get too horny? We know it’s frustrating and you get flustered when it’s bad, but we’re working on a way to add an extra layer of control to your locks.

BeltBolt is a little computer and an even littler sensor that goes inside your chastity belt, and using calibrated pressure measurement, it detects how horny you are. After calibration, BeltBolt knows what your belt “feels” like when you’re soft, and when you’re trying to burst through the belt. If you get too pent up, two little electrodes mounted in or near your belt tube deliver an electric shock to keep you in line.

Our controller comes with a powerful, low-power ESP32 microcontroller, a single button for controls, a lockout keyswitch for your keyholder to keep you out of the settings, and a beautiful, bright white OLED screen.

A gorgeous display

BeltBolt comes with a lovely bright white OLED display measuring 2.5 inches diagonally, which features beautiful pixel artwork by talented artists to bring life to BeltBolt. Characters chat and interact, and represent how well you’re behaving in your enforcement regimen.

Clear menus allow on-device customisation of almost everything about BeltBolt, from shock and sensor adjustment, personalisation, mode switching and more.

Almost everything about BeltBolt is controlled via a single button on the front of the device, allowing you to quickly set it up exactly how you like. For those whose keys are in the control of others, a keyswitch on the side of BeltBolt keeps you locked out from changing your own settings or trying to cheat the device. For those who hold their own keys, BeltBolt allows you to lock yourself out of these things too, whether it’s for an hour or a very long time indeed.

Deep customisation

Everyone enjoys chastity differently, so it makes sense that everyone will enjoy BeltBolt differently. Almost everything about BeltBolt can be set up to your liking in the device’s menus, from how strongly and how often you can be shocked, which cute little characters you want (or whether you want them at all), whether BeltBolt is online or completely disconnected from the internet, how the different modes work and more. We’re working on even more options for the future too, including support for additional sensors and integrations with other tools and toys. If you’d like your physical device to look differently also, we can help with that!

If you have an extra special use case and there’s a feature you’d really love to see, let us know.

High quality materials

We know that most people interested in BeltBolt won’t want to wear it all the time, but the initial project was designed for someone who absolutely does. So, we’re making BeltBolt as if it’s part of your chastity belt, and choosing materials to fit that standard. We use strong 3D-printed housing bases (ABS and carbon-fibre reinforced PLA during our upcoming testing stage) coated in a strong ceramic finish, which looks great and allows for easy cleaning and low friction against your belt and your skin. We’re planning on offering several colour options, as well as custom orders for those who really want their favourite shades.

Our mounting system is a work in progress, and will continue to be as we supply BeltBolts to people with different chastity belt designs. For non-fixed mounting options, we can supply your BeltBolt with any colour of Biothane® straps you desire.

We use polycarbonate panels to protect those lovely screens we use, and use continuous gaskets between the housing halves to keep water away. All our external components, including the main button, keyswitch and cable connectors are rated at IP67 against water and dust ingress. Even if you don’t plan on using BeltBolt every day, you can rest assured knowing that keeping it clean won’t kill it. All our external fasteners are non-rusting, and we’re working on ways to offer even tougher versions to the extreme sports perverts in the future. (You’d be surprised what people do in chastity belts, honestly!)

Who is it for?

BeltBolt is designed for people with penises wearing chastity belts and cages. For those with other anatomy, we’re working on that too! Detecting “horny” is a lot harder without a penis in a belt tube, but we have some ideas, and we’ll be looking for testers when the time comes.

We can support most belts and cages, though particularly short cages (including flat and inverted cages) are difficult to make work reliably. We’re working on it, though!

We support both short-term use during scenes and play, and longer-term wear for 24/7 chastity practitioners. Due to our work on optimising battery life, BeltBolt will operate offline for around 48 with typical use based on our tests.

We’re just starting out, so if we don’t support your belt just yet, we can make a mount that will work for almost any one on the market. If you have a belt that’s new to us, we’ll send you several options for the controller mount as well as the electrode and sensor mounts, and will work with you to fix any issues you have with your specific model.

How does it detect horny?

We use a thin film pressure sensor encased in skin-safe silicone to detect how much strain there is inside your device’s penis tube. On first setup (or anytime in Keyholder Mode), we calibrate your device to detect what your belt “feels” like when you’re fully soft, and when you’re fully hard. Your keyholder can set a limit of just how excited you’re allowed to be, and if you’re above that threshold for too long, you suffer a little. ⚡

How does it zap?

We use commonly available electric shock collars to build the shock unit, which is safely enclosed in the BeltBolt controller. Our controllers are the same as those used by OpenShock and PiShock hubs, and they can deliver shocks from a light tickle to a proper knee-buckler. Although our shock unit is safely inside the controller, BeltBolt has a waterproof connector that connects to a set of electrodes that mount to your chastity belt inside or near your penis tube, or with some optional modifications, anywhere below the waist.

You or your keyholder can set how strong the shocks are, whether they ramp up to your maximum set level or start suddenly, how often they happen and how long you have to be straining too much for them to kick in.

In normal use, you won’t be using the big shiny button on the front of BeltBolt that much, so we’ve given it a use. Hold down the button for 1 second and it’ll give you a shock regardless of how well you’re behaving! These shocks can be set completely differently, and even have a continuous spam mode. Great fun with friends at parties.

What’s on the screen?

The screen is your way to see what BeltBolt’s doing and to change modes and settings. It’s a gorgeous OLED screen with adjustable brightness and features a clear user interface to help you make your way around.

Although you can turn them off, by default BeltBolt features little pixel art characters that bounce around to bring the device to life. You can pick a character (or get a custom one!) and input your name, pronouns and favourite pet names, and BeltBolt will use those to create a personalised touch.

How do you get around the interface?

If you don’t hold your own keys, you won’t be changing much on your own, but your keyholder can use the physical keyswitch to allow you to enter various modes or to change settings. When unlocked, the front button is how most things happen – single, double and long presses do different things, and BeltBolt always makes it obvious on screen what things do. It’s intuitive, don’t worry, and the first time setup wizard will show you how it works. There are a few things like choosing a WiFi network that do need you to use a computer or smartphone, but BeltBolt will start its own WiFi access point so you can get these things done seamlessly.

We’re planning on building an optional version of Keyholder Mode which allows you to configure every setting on local WiFi.

What if I need a break?

If you’re planning on wearing BeltBolt for a longer period, we have Sleep and Work modes that allow you to focus on what matters without worrying about getting zapped. These are highly customisable on length and can be scheduled regularly. Useful for your focus, and for enforcing healthy sleeping habits! BeltBolt can also wake you up after Sleep mode ends if you like, with vibration, shocks or both. There’s even optional puzzles to make sure you actually wake up. We also have an optional Timeout mode that you can use without your keyholder’s permission when needed, if things are getting too much. Your keyholder can still find out you used it, so use wisely.

Whenever you’re in any break mode, no horny enforcement zaps can be given to you, and OpenShock disconnects so you can’t be zapped over the internet either. Though we do allow you to be zapped using the front button if your keyholder wants – it’s a fun way to be woken up for some! During sleep and work mode, we fully disconnect from WiFi and enter a deep sleep mode to save battery life, though it wakes back up in under a second by simply pressing the button.

I want something to be different…

Not to worry! Almost all our features are optional and customisable! if you don’t want to have a manual shock button, or want to keep zaps really gentle, or don’t want the option of avoiding horny enforcement during work, you can configure BeltBolt however you like.

If you don’t like the appearance or form factor of BeltBolt but still want one, let us know! We should be able to spin up something custom for you.

What happens when BeltBolt releases?

When we release BeltBolt, we’ll be making the first devices available to supporters as a little thank you. We’ll be accepting orders from the first day, and lead time is expected to be between 4 and 8 weeks depending on demand. For customised devices, lead time may be a bit longer, depending on if your device needs custom hardware, materials or coatings to be sourced.

Every BeltBolt device supports OTA (over the air) updates, so no matter how early you get a device, you’ll be able to upgrade its functionality over time and get access to the latest features. Updates will never install automatically, though, and BeltBolt’s firmware will continue to work indefinitely offline. If a service we use for online connectivity changes outside our control, you may need to update your firmware.

When BeltBolt is available, we’ll be publishing the firmware source code so you can get stuck in to building your own if you prefer – everything except custom characters* and supporter information will be available for your use! It’ll be published under the AGPL v3 licence. If you modify the BeltBolt source code, you’ll need to implement your own changes when firmware updates are available, though, as OTA updates from BeltBolt will likely wipe your tweaks.

You’ll need to make your own housings and source your own components, but we’re planning on providing ways to get those from us (or from manufacturers directly, where possible), both for DIYers and for those who need to repair their devices.

Although we’ll offer repairs under warranty, we’ll be publishing our own repair guides and a bill of materials so you can find your own replacement parts.
