We’re working on a comprehensive bed restraint system
We’re calling it the BedTime system. We’re also testing it on ourselves every night and will be releasing it in retail and DIY kit form once it’s ready. In the meantime, we have some bits and pieces available.

What’s the plan?
An electronic, safety-first bed restraint system using electromagnetic locks
Our main goal is a safe and secure bed restraint system that uses electromagnetic locks to keep you under the covers until you’re allowed to get up. You’ll be able to mount your locking points in whatever location you like, and multiple locking points will be supported, allowing everything from gently tethering you to the bed to keeping you spread-eagled for hours like in that cartoon that awakened this in you.
The controller will allow you to configure how long you’re locking for each night, and as soon as you start the timer, you’ll be held in place until the time passes.
Safety with accountability
It’s hardly safe to keep you locked to the bed with no way out, right? Of course! As enthusiasts of nightly bed restraints ourselves, we know there’s situations where you need to get out, especially if you have neighbours as bad as making toast as we do. Our system will come with a hardware emergency stop button which can be mounted within reach of your hands, meaning you’ll always be able to get out. This emergency stop cuts power to the electromagnetic locks themselves, so no matter what goes wrong, your binds will always release. However, the switch is also monitored by the controller, and every locking session will be recorded, meaning your dominant, keyholder or master will always be able to scroll back over the past few weeks to monitor your compliance. Every lock is recorded; how long it was, how much was completed and if and when it was interrupted are indelibly recorded, and these can’t be overwritten.
Couldn’t you just hit the emergency stop before starting a lock-up? You could, but the controller knows and won’t allow the lock to start, and you’ll have a gap in your records. The emergency stop button is reset by a key, kept behind a security seal on the controller housing.
When will it be available?
We’re expecting to make the first version to be available as a kit in early 2026. Join the Discord to keep up with progress.
What’s available right now?
Segufix® is big in bed restraints, so we’ve started there.
We use Segufix® restraints with our own bed restraint system prototype every night, so we’ve started there! After having several awkward situations where we’d drop our magnetic keys to get unlocked in the morning or they stuck to something metallic in their vicinity (house keys, it’s always house keys), we’ve made an unlocking station you can mount to your bed! Plus, it’s fully hands-free, very useful for those of us locked in mitts every night.
